I had selected one of the photos you submitted from the candelight art project to blog in May, but since we are doing environment projects this month I will use one of the new photos instead.

About the description, I can write to you:
In Lions Club Agrigento Chiaramonte, District 108 YB, Circoscription IX, Zone 25, we began our action for the health of the Earth in February 18th 2011, painting by candlelight for Energy Saving and celebrating Italian Unification‘s 150th Anniversary (you have our photos on your Flickr’s album). It was the 3th step of our main Service “IncontrArti”, in 6 steps. Now, in April 9th 2011, we have continued our Project painting by sunlight, for young people of Realmonte’s School, I.C. Garibaldi. So, with our 5th IncontrArti’s step, we have celebrate “The day of the Earth” always in Energy Saving for the Campaign “Protect our Environment” and, at the same time, have dedicated our work to young people for our “We Serve Youth” in this Social Year. We, Incontrarti’s professional Artists, have painted in the same time together the young Artists of the School on our great canvases by sunlight. The young people’s work will remain in School; our big work (cm. 160×140) will be sold to a sponsor for beneficence actions of our Club and expecially for budgets of our GOAL in IncontrArti’s Service: the 6th step, 1° Lions Club Agrigento Chiaramonte National “IncontrArti MUSIC AWARD”, for young talents of Music from 16 to 22 years old an for the youngest people of our “Prizes Lions for EUTERPE”. WE SERVE YOUTH “trough” and “for” ART.
